Senior Client Project Manager (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
Project & Product Development
- You independently manage complex packaging development projects from the initial design concept through to series production.
- You translate creative client briefs into technically feasible and commercially compelling packaging solutions.
- You coordinate samples, mock-ups and prototypes, ensuring that deadlines, quality standards and cost targets are met.
- You manage key interfaces and collaborate closely with development, purchasing, production and logistics throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Client Management & Consulting
- You act as the key point of contact for assigned clients and coordinate all project-related collaboration between clients, agencies and internal departments.
- You prepare and independently conduct client meetings, providing expert advice on materials, constructions, sustainability and technical feasibility.
- You develop alternative solutions and recommendations for improvement, overseeing their implementation through to final approval.
Business Development & Commercial Management
- You support quotations and project costing, keeping a close eye on margins, costs and overall profitability.
- You identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities and work closely with Sales and Key Account Management to further develop existing client relationships.
- You actively contribute your project and client expertise to pricing negotiations and commercial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Completed commercial/vocational training with relevant professional experience or a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Several years of solid project management experience, ideally within a manufacturing or technically oriented company.
- Proven experience in independently managing complex projects as well as in professional client management.
- Strong commercial and technical understanding, combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills, along with a confident and professional manner when dealing with clients, agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities and drive projects forward effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with merchandise management or ERP systems.
- Fluency in German and English; French or other foreign language skills would be an advantage.
